Who we are
ToutCheck is a product of Unlimited Apps LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. Questions about this policy: write to [email protected].
What we collect today
- Launch-notify emails. If you email us to join the launch list, we keep your address (and whatever you wrote) so we can notify you at launch and answer your message. That's it.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. Analytics stays off by default: it runs only if you accept it in the cookie banner, and your choice is stored on your device. If you decline (or never answer), analytics cookies are not used. We see usage data in aggregate only, and the site works the same either way.
- Nothing else. No accounts, no ad pixels, no cross-site ad tracking, no device fingerprinting by us.
What we'll collect when paid tiers launch
The paid tiers (Pro, Tout Verified) don't exist yet. When they do, we'll add:
- Account email — to run your subscription and log you in.
- Payment details via our payment processor — card numbers go to the processor, not to us; we keep only the fact of your plan, billing dates, and last-four/receipt data needed for support.
- Usage records — which ledger pages you view, so we can improve the product and enforce plan limits.
- Support messages — so we can actually help you.
We'll update this policy before any of that goes live.
The tout ledger
ToutCheck's ledger records publicly published sports-betting picks — what touts posted, when, and what happened. We don't buy, scrape-behind-logins, or collect private personal data about touts; the record is the public post and its timestamped outcome. If you are a tout and believe a record about your public alias is wrong, write to [email protected] and we'll investigate and correct it.
What we never do
- No selling or renting your data to anyone, ever.
- No advertising on the site, no cross-site ad tracking.
- No selling picks and no betting advice — the product is the audit, not the action.
How long we keep things
Launch-list emails: until launch notification, plus a short grace period, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. Support correspondence: as long as needed to resolve your issue. Ledger records: kept indefinitely as the historical record, since the ledger is the product.
Your rights
Ask us anytime to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you (email: above). We'll comply promptly, subject to anything the law requires us to keep (e.g., tax or payment records when billing exists).
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date and, where practical, note the change where you'd see it.
